::inspiring Mondays::

white rose

Even windy Mondays can be inspirational. And happy! This Monday was shaken by gusty winds but I was surrounded by inspirational little snippets of life and barely took notice (I tell a lie, but it sounds more poetic like that; in reality, I felt I was about to take off on several occasions!).

I am an artist. Ha. I've written it and it looks very weird, but it's part of my weekly plan as Raining Umbrellas reaches its official end to call myself an artist. So I'm afraid you'll be reading a lot about little pats on the back from me to moi même. Someone has to do it and that someone is me. For now. I also want to do Street photography, but that's for another post.

:: met up with a very dear friend who now lives in Singapore. we hadn't seen each other in two years but it felt like it was yesterday. smile.
:: said friend instigating me to "do" street photography on the spot. it was London after all. more smile.
:: chamomile tea. it has been forgotten but no longer!
:: great barbecue. fun!
:: tulips.
:: 3 pets all to myself for a whole week next week. can't wait.
:: Raining umbrellas
:: being creative.
:: feeling inspired.

Yes, the wind keeps blowing outside, loud and clear, but I choose to ignore it. There's so much beauty and peace to explore now. Have an inspired week everyone :)

  1. Wow, Joey, you make me curious about your photographic activity in LDN. I'm pretty sure it will be artistic too :-) Looking forward to the moment on which you share your little pieces of art with 'the audience' ...

    Enjoy the pet-sitting and the last week of Raining Umbrellas! I know for sure it's something we will never forget, for many reasons ...

  2. Great minds . . .

    By coincidence I posted a rose photo today too (among my usual non-photographic drivel).

    Mine appears later than yours, but psychophantic as I might appear, it was a coincidence of roses. (Not the normal collective noun, I admit.)

  3. @cococita: :) I'm afraid the results won't be that brilliant, baby steps is how I'm seeing it. I got the camera out and that was the start of it... :)

    I know, I can't believe Raining Umbrellas is reaching a conclusion this week... it has been so much fun!
